Why Paying it Forward Reaps Many Rewards on Social Media

Does not it feel wonderful and causes you to smile when you’re acknowledged for an accomplishment? When someone is really kind to you without any intention of reciprocation? I recently discovered how wonderful that feeling is.

When eVision Media won an Abbotsford Chamber of Commerce Business Excellence award at the end of November, my Facebook feed was inundated with hundreds of likes, congratulations and well wishes. It truly was overwhelming to be the receiver of such incredible heart-felt wishes!

Being on the receiving end of such attention is not only flattering but also have me deeply touched that so many people thought kindly of my team and I. So much so that it has me ponder my own actions, or inactions as the case may be, on social media. Why Paying it Forward Reaps Many Rewards on Social Media

How many times did I scroll past someone sharing their good news … too busy to pause long enough to congratulate them?

How many times did I just hit the “like” button and move on after someone posted a huge victory of their own?

Too many times.

So many that I have a decision on Social Media too. Now I make a conscious effort to pause a little message of kindness on my social media channels. Whether it’s a quick “Congratulations!” Or a response to a question I’ve received over the years. Will you join me?

Here’s 6 Ways You Can Pay It Forward on Social Media

1. When you see someone sharing good news, do not just hit the “Like” button, go that extra mile and leave a comment about how happy you are for them. It’s ok that you do not know this person personally, it’s social media where your connection is all that’s needed to pay a little kindness forward.

This simple gesture can make a big difference in the other person’s life. You have no idea what you are going through and your message of kindness could make their day. Why Paying it Forward Reaps Many Rewards on Social Media

2. When someone retweets or shares your content to their followers, send them a message of thanks.

Your acknowledgment will go a long way in their eyes, and they will remember how kind you are to them and will encourage them to continue their acts of sharing kindness. 3. Retweet and share great content of others and be sure to give them credit for posting such great stuff.

This kind of acknowledgment could be all that’s needed to give them the confidence they need to keep creating good stuff.

4. Participate in contests that you really wish to be a part of. A lot of thought and planning goes into setting up a contest so show your appreciation for the opportunity to win something and submit your entry.

Imagine if you are holding a contest and how much excitement you will feel when you see so many people participating. Share that gift of excitement to others.

5. Tell someone you appreciate them. It does not have to have any strings attached … just let them know how much you admire them and appreciate being connected with them on Social Media and why.

Would not it be great to receive such an unprovoked message? You can make someone else feel great too – how cool is that!

6. When you see someone is struggling or has asked a question you can answer, help.

Sharing your expertise with others is a wonderful way to pay it forward and help someone else out at the same time.

By making a conscious effort in performing these acts of kindness on social media, you will not only help make the world a better place (after all, does not the world need more kindness in it?) But you will also see a positive shift both personally and professionally in your own life.

There are plenty of other ways you can pay it and share kindness with others on social media. Help me grow this list by posting in the comments section below your own ideas. And do not forget to implement them!

How Someone Became and Expert

How Someone Became and Expert

So how do you become an expert if you do not now? Here are some key ways to get expert status:
Keep learning: Being an expert means willing to expand your knowledge of what you know. This means educating yourself so you stay on top of your niche. You can not say that you are finished learning because there will always be something new to learn. If you want to become an expert, you must learn to invest in yourself.
Network: Build strong relationships with others in your field. You have to find people in your niche and be willing to help people who are less knowledgeable than you. You also need to promote yourself to others. If you are not sure how to do this, take a course in it. But you have to learn to promote yourself, if you want others to know about you and what you want. How Someone Became and Expert
Practice: Being an expert means practicing what you preach. If you know something that no one else knows, show that you know it by the way of life every day. If you know how to set up a car like no one else did, do it in your own car first. Set an example for others. If you do, people will see you, know that you are truly and expert.
Presentation skills: Learn to use any technology available to you, so you can present your skills to others. This means using whatever is available to you including your website, PowerPoint, mail, e-mail, text, pictures, public conversations, or any media you choose.
Share: As an expert, do your best to share your knowledge and experience with others. If you know something that can help others, share it. By helping others, you in turn help yourself. By doing this, when others know you need an expert, you will be there for them to come. How Someone Became and Expert
Doing all of the above means I will be called an expert. Well, yes and no. You will be on your way. You will at least understand what it means to be an expert. This is the biggest step of all. Once you realize the above, you will become an expert.

How to Make a Gaming Website That Make Money

How to Make a Gaming Website That Make Money

If you’re a gaming enthusiast who thinks of making money from your passion, you’re just a few simple steps to make it a reality.

Playing games has long been a favorite of the past for millions of people. And in the digital world today, making money from this hobby is easier than ever. All you need is a simple website and gaming knowledge that you can share with your readers.

Game sites are the best way to do what you love without spending much of your time.

No matter what your skill level is, delivering original value to visitors will definitely set you apart from other similar sites.

But do you know how to create a gaming site that will give you a passive income? Read on to find out.

How To Make A Gaming Website That Make Money
Write Interesting and Useful Content

The best and most efficient way to get your website noticed and visited is to write quality blog posts. Articles should be valuable to the reader and solve specific problems.

You can do reviews about your favorite games, writing about the game industry, guides, and travel guides.

If you offer free games on your site, consider making some of them pay, that players need to buy a code to access them.

Finally, consider the SEO aspect of your site if you want to rank well on Google.

Use YouTube Ads

YouTube is the most popular broadcasting platform in the world. And as a gaming lover, you’re in a perfect position to use it to monetize your site through their special game section.

For example, for each article, review or guide you post, create a short video to accompany him. Include actual footage of the game or step by step instructions.

Many people also love watching gamers play, so you can record yourself playing your favorite games and make money in the process.

Sign up for an Affiliate Marketing Program

If you post a game product review on your website, this is a great way to add multiple affiliate links.

The most popular affiliate program is Amazon’s, but you can sign up for others you like.

So every time you review something like the best router for ps4, you’ll add an affiliate link for all the mentioned routers. And if someone clicks on a link and / or buys a product, you will earn a commission.

Creating and Selling Digital Products

If you have an in-depth knowledge of the game industry or niche, you can make money by creating and selling digital products.

This can be an audio book, ebook or course on a particular topic. Although most information can be found on the internet for free, you collect it in one place and give instant access to your readers.

Dare to Dream of a White Christmas in Courchevel

Dare to Dream of a White Christmas in Courchevel

Imagine waking up to a scene of snowy mountains and pine trees capped with a fresh dusting of snow on Christmas morning. Well, if you book a ski holiday to Courchevel for the festive period, this is exactly what you and your kids can expect!
In addition to enjoying a perfect winter wonderland, you and your family will be able to enjoy many festive activities in the resort, ranging from fantastic French-cooked Christmas dinners to a torch-lit descent for the kids to enjoy when the sun goes down.

The best part is that all of this couldn’t be easier to reach from the UK, as there are regular flights to Geneva from most UK airports, as well as excellent transport links from Geneva to Courchevel.

Courchevel for Families

While the exclusive Courchevel resort of 1850 is a perfect destination for many couples and ski enthusiasts, families with young children may prefer the lower resorts of 1550 and 1650, which are smaller and have a more family-friendly and intimate feel.

All of the resorts have their own children’s ski schools (I highly recommend learning with the French ESF – let them know that your children are English, and they will put them in an English-speaking class). What’s more, there are nursery runs, snow playgrounds and beginner slopes in each of the resorts.

When you venture away from the slopes, you’ll find that there is as much to do off as on the snow. For example, why not take the family ice skating, bowling or to the cinema?

What to Expect During the Festive Season

As you make your way from Geneva to Courchevel, you’ll feel the excitement of your children growing when you drive into the heart of a Narnia-esque landscape of snowy mountains and pine forests.

When you reach the resort, you’ll discover that the French embrace the magic of the festive season just as much as we do back home. The high streets in all of the resorts sparkle with Christmas lights, giving the entire area a truly magical feel.

Festive treats are likely to include carols and fireworks, traditional markets, a parade, tons of hot chocolate and live music events, as well as traditional Christmas meals in its many restaurants.

Highlights for 2017 include a torch-lit descent that’s led by ESF instructors and that features Santa as a special guest, as well as a special Boxing Day luge event.

Lastly, don’t forget that you’ll also be able to ski on Christmas Day. All of the resort’s lifts and pistes are open all day. Who knows – you might even discover Santa practicing his carving turns!

How to Get There

The resort is served by four airports during the ski season: Chambery, Lyon, Grenoble and Geneva. For the most regular and stress-free connection, choose a flight to Geneva with providers such as easyJet, British Airways, Swiss International or Air France.

For a completely hassle-free way of getting your family from the airport to your resort, simply book an airport transfer with Shuttle Direct before you leave home.

Let us know how many of you will be travelling, how many child seats you will need, and what ski equipment you will be carrying, and we’ll meet you at the airport with the perfect transport for you and your family.

10 Most Frequently Used Thermal Marketing Keywords

10 Most Frequently Used Thermal Marketing Keywords

If marketing is art, content is a masterpiece!

You see, content drives sales, but also generates keywords. According to Wikipedia, keywords are words or phrases that become popular for a certain period of time.

To be more precise, these are the words that appear in almost all marketing posts published on the internet.

You may have read it, and we can not promise you that you get the last of them any time soon!

So, anyway, here are the 10 most used keywords on the internet today.

Can we?

# 1. Virus
In the internet-less world, viruses mean bad news, because life-threatening viruses can come loose.

But on the Internet Hal, when something stalls, marketers almost always laugh to the bank! 10 Most Frequently Used Thermal Marketing Keywords

Marketers (and almost anyone who uses social media) use the term to describe images, videos, articles, or other content types so that Internet users can not stop sharing.

# 2. Dive inside
No. It has nothing to do with swimming. Not even close to an inch of water.

In the world of digital marketing, deep diving means you will discuss the best detail of a particular topic.

Can we dive deep into the next keyword?

# 3. A thousand years
Everything, and for good reason, revolves around the millennium.

Being the greatest living generation (and the most complicated consumer), marketers do not seem to have enough of this stuff.

Nobody remembers the millennium also called generation Y, because, well. Let’s say a thousand years sounds better

# 4 Netflix and Chill
Seriously, it’s 2017, but Netflix and cold are still a marketing sensation, even in the dating industry.

Technically, Netflix and the cold are happening when your love interest ends for a love-making session and a Netflix watch session (both at the same time!).

Theoretically, it could mean anything, from binge eating on Netflix, to bonding on Netflix! 10 Most Frequently Used Thermal Marketing Keywords

# 5. ROI (Return on Investment)
Long ago, ROI was the phrase used by investment professionals and corporate honchos.

Fortunately, it spilled into the marketing world, and marketers made a killing with him. Drag the digital marketing blog in your browser and you will be very lucky not to find the acronym.

In addition to the buzz, ROI describes the efficiency and forecast of the financial returns of a marketing or campaign program.

# 6. Infographics
Marketers are always trying to create new content formats to encourage consumer engagement.

Infographics are one of the latest discoveries that really take off and, as a result, most of the information we consume today is presented in visual charts.

# 7. Leaders of Thought
No formal school offers courses in thinking leadership, but that does not mean we can not think of leaders.

It is a professional with an authoritative and influential view of certain things. This is a good thing, except for the fact that everyone who has hacked it into marketing or branding thinks they are leaders of thought.

# 8. Large data
The big data is the data science product (which is also a keyword).

Digital marketers use large data (large data volumes) to make day-to-day marketing decisions.

Just listen to marketers The term big data must be in the first 100 words they say!

# 9. SoLoMo
Because, who has time to say social media, local media and mobile apps in one sentence?

# 10. Toughness
Hyperlinks are everywhere, and sometimes internet users like to click on them. When a link attracts thousands (or millions) of clicks, marketers will tell you that this site has high clicks.

In other words, the link in question is a gateway for super-awesome content.

In conclusion …
You may cringe every time you see a keyword, but let’s face it: they will not go any time soon!

Sure, some will die naturally with time, but others – like viruses – have been immortalized by social media!

This restaurant invites you in by displaying its kitchen!

Concrete brings us a brand new Japanese watering hole and dining experience at Izakaya in Hotel Roomers, Munich.
Hotel Roomers in Munich stands out for its Japanese restaurant, Izakaya in an incredibly unique way. The restaurant announces its presence via its show kitchen visible through the glass facade of the porte-cochere. This kitchen block continues inside the lobby as a jewellery case covered in gold mirror – also the restaurant’s main entrance!

Black and gold dominate the colour palette here with a contrasting feature of light wooden lamellas along the ceiling and wall. Gold cladding uplifts the space especially through the backlit bar top, with a warm yellow marble finish that makes every drink sparkle. While the bar is a highlight element, one cannot miss the show-stopper i.e. the oversized wooden Koi-carp lamp. Typically Japanese, this lamp would’ve probably overpowered the design had it not been so dynamic!

Seating zones are created by introducing silk-printed rotating panels that are also black mirrors and level changers. The rotating panels serve many purposes: they can either connect or separate the space depending on the angle of rotation. While on one side, a Japanese-inspired artwork on silkscreen by artist Gijs Scholten anoints it; the other side is clad with a black mirror with different settings. In the early evening, the whole space can appear as one; while during the after-hours, the bar can be cordoned off to establish a darker and cosy mood that lasts deep into the night. This element helps the space adapt to its clients allowing for a truly transformable experience.

Introducing Young Minds to Intriguing India

Introducing Young Minds to Intriguing India

Planning a school trip brings with it more than administrative and organizational responsibilities. The challenge is on the shoulders of educators to choose goals that can engage young hearts and minds in such a way that deep and active learning can be achieved based on their immersion in culture. India is such a place – the school trip to this vibrant center of color and culture can transform life and life that is reinforcing for young minds.
Interesting Indians Introducing Young Minds to Intriguing India

School trips to India are enormous and, depending on the curriculum, can accommodate a myriad of religious sites, community projects, and aspects of local tradition and culture. The most successful trip will incorporate all of this to give a good view to all students in the country, but also some breathing spaces in places that quite often surprise their cultural system. Exploring the Unknown

For a school trip with a focus on economic and socio-political studies, experiencing striking community differences in India can give young learners valuable insights. While observing the pollution and marked trash that accompany daily life may be encountered at times, it provides an excellent opportunity for them to reflect on the need for environmental awareness.

On a different level, a visit to a community project like Father Ravi Shelter, working with homeless children in Delhi, can offer a deeper understanding of the problematic socioeconomic problems of the city and how this dedicated group works to combat them. Introducing Young Minds to Intriguing India

Religious place

A fusion of religious beliefs exist side by side in India, with relics and contemporary ornaments of Sikhism, Hinduism, Buddhism, and Jainism on a constant display. Students will have the opportunity to visit significant places of worship and witness firsthand how, even amidst diversity, tolerance, and peaceful coexistence so vast can and will last forever.

In the holy city of Rishikesh they can join in an important Hindu ritual called Gangga Aarti, which involves fire victims – in this case a small floating candle called diya – sent down the Ganges River, accompanied by prayer and song worship. While in Delhi they can follow the community food program at the beautiful Sikh temple, Gurudwara Bangla Sahib, where volunteers prepare food and visitors of all races and religions are welcome to participate.

Finding Local Culture

The Indian identity is defined by deep cultural intonation. For young people, exploring cities and rural areas allows them to see how ancient traditions and contemporary innovations are closely intertwined.

A visit to the village of rural crafts offers another dimension to the tour, and Dilli Haat is a fascinating portrayal of tradition in action. This bazaar is a compilation of 62 kiosks, whose products are displayed in accordance with the birth status of the owner for 15 days. With a row of beautiful items, ranging from carvings of sandalwood to silk, this is an interesting cross section of the creative industry. Aravali Eco Village offers an immersive experience of a different kind, where visitors stay and get a chance to interact in local dances, crafts, and ceremonies.

Exploring a society very different from them in every way will bring young people beyond their comfort zone and provide a completely new facet with their worldview.
